How you make it all possible...

• Creating dynamic web-based systems using PHP and the Laravel framework within the Digital team
• Crafting digital solutions from technical specifications and client briefs
• Collaborating with the Development team and providing useful feedback through peer-to-peer code reviews
• Guiding and developing best practice and improving efficiency and quality
• Keeping a poised finger on the pulse, searching for new technologies and concepts that will benefit the department
• Delivering bold contributions to key projects and creating complex and dynamic business systems for our fantastic range of clients

Responsibilities and Qualifications

What’s in your toolbox ... Ideally, you’ll have at least 1-2 years working in a testing role OR are currently training/trained in the testing industry. Additionally, you must have heaps of experience and knowledge in:

• Unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing – essentially you need to be the oracle on all things testing!
• The full Software Development Lifecycle ‘SDLC’ and Software Testing Lifecycle ‘STLC’
• Testing various CMS platforms, B2B websites, B2C websites and Mobile apps
• Using issue tracking tools including JIRA
• Both cross browser and device testing
• Working in both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Working within project teams, as well as in collaboration with other testers on a project
• Working autonomously
• Certification in ISEB/ISTQB
• System security and GDPR
• Usability best practice
• The principles of PHP, Laravel, Drupal and WordPress frameworks, as well as testing AR and VR digital solutions

There’s flexibility with where you’re based with this role, but it’s important to note that there will be times when you’ll need to work from our other offices and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas.
